Why Do We Do This?

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord....Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." (Luke 2:11,14)

Well, mostly because Brian is crazy.  But honestly, it makes us happy.  It makes our kids happy.  It makes the neighbors' kids happy.  Everyone seems to enjoy it and it brings our neighborhood together.

Additionally, when we grew up, there was always "that house" you went to each year with your family to see the lights.  You don't remember what present you received 15 years ago, but rather the things you did with your family.  We hope we can possibly be "that house" for Christmas memories to be made.

Finally, "Light" can be a great symbol of truth, knowledge, goodness, example, and even Jesus Christ.  Our Christmas Light Display hopefully embodies all of those things and brings people joy and happiness.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" (Mathew 5:16)
